Being True To Self

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that I can only be true and real to myself. I can no longer stand in the gap or try to help others if I am unable to help myself. This is not to be mean or to think I’m better, it’s something we all need to know how to do. In this uncertain time, we have to know when to hold them and know when to fold them. No, I’m not trying to get people to learn more selfishness than they already know but to learn to be selfish in time of your own needs and transitions.

It is time for a change. Self-change that is. Get to know who you as a person, really and truly are. It is really okay to be selfish if it’s all about you. It is called self gratitude. Self gratitude in itself simply is that you are all about the betterment of yourself. You have to reprogram your mind to understand your true ugly and pretty. Not speaking on looks, but the attitude about oneself. How do you as a person feel about yourself?

Time and time again, we are told how to act, how to live, how to conduct ourselves in OUR daily lives. The people that tend to do this, aren’t happy with themselves, so they have to dictate your life. It’s ridiculous to live according to other people. We are always in a bubble of should I, or shouldn’t I. How to act or be is solely up to.

Try to one day get up and give yourself gratitude. Tell yourself that you can do this. You are beautiful/handsome. You can do this without recognition from anyone. Loving yourself is the far most important thing you can ever do for yourself. Daily gratitude, love, and knowing who you are are all that you can do or need to do. Try this every day and see your life change for the better of YOU. Life is so unpredictable. Being a little self will only help you, never will it hurt you. Don’t Take Your life for granted. Be all you can be for Yourself.
